Type 06A: Swing Check Valve with Lever and Weight

Equipped with a lever and weight mechanism that provides controlled closure of the valve. The weight assists in slowing the closing action to reduce the risk of water hammer, offering a partially controlled closure. Primarily designed for water and wastewater systems where moderate flow conditions exist and water hammer mitigation is needed.

The lever and weight system provides some level of control over the valve disc‘s closing speed, slightly reducing the chance of sudden slamming and water hammer.

Best suited for applications where moderate flow control is required and where water hammer reduction is

important. Commonly used in low/medium pressure pumping systems, water and wastewater treatment plants, and other

applications where controlled closure can prevent system damage.

Type 06A-HD: Non-Slam Swing Check Valve with Lever, Weight & Hydraulic Damper

The Non-Slam execution of the Type 06A which is equipped with a lever and weight mechanism supported by Hydraulic Damper that provides fully controlled closure of the valve which prevents water hammer. Type 06A-HD is primarily designed for water and wastewater systems for larges sizes (> DN250) and for higher flow rates/pressures.

The Non-Slam execution of the Type 06A, by adding the Hydraulic Damper, provides a high level of control over

the valve disc‘s closing speed, strongly reducing or even preventing the chance of sudden slamming and water hammer.

The ideal solution for Non-Slam / Anti Waterhammer for applications where moderate flow control is required

and where water hammer reduction is important. Commonly used in low/medium pressure pumping systems, water and

wastewater treatment plants, and other applications where controlled closure can prevent system damage.
